Eloise has chosen a winner for this month’s contest.
The winner is the Chevron Stripe Cowl as suggested by Solène! (I will be contacting you so that I can send you your prize!)
Here’s what Eloise had to say about her decision.
“I really liked a bunch of these patterns, but ultimately chose the Chevron Stripe cowl. I think the colorwork and bold shapes will mitigate how varigated the color is, especially if I pair it with a nice, well-behaved semi-solid. (Maybe a neutral?) Plus, I haven’t done a cowl (or colorwork) in a while. I want to thank everyone for their suggestions; this has given me a lot of inspiration for the rest of my stash.”
Not a ton of people have made this awesome pattern, but there are some great examples of it. Pictured above is Sweatshop of Love’s Chevron Stripe in Knitpicks Palette. Below are nkfoster21‘s Chevron Stripe and OhDoogs‘ Opa Chevron Style. All are very lovely and will hopefully be an inspiration to Eloise as she makes hers!
Congratulations to Solène, and thank you to everyone who participated in this contest. It’s such a great way for me to interact with you guys, and I always have a ton of fun doing it!
